Each client is unique in terms of their situation and needs. During the intake session we work together to establish which will be most suitable and effective. Most clients end up receiving a mix of the two disciplines.
Step 1. You reach out to me through the online contact form, or directly using the WhatsApp link.
Step 2. We agree a date/time for the free consultation. This is usually a 20-30 minute call where you tell me more about your situation and establish some suitable options for working together.
Step 3. You begin the process with your first session. From here you are in full control of the dates/times/frequencies of the sessions based on your preference and my availability.
Each session lasts 1 hour and is usually done online, so all you need is a stable wifi connection and a quiet space. During this time you are in complete control of what you choose to work on. Some clients will be keen to dive into the topic at hand, eager to find results or answers. And others will prefer to go at a slower pace and take their time understanding what insights they may be uncovering at the time. Ultimately I will work with you at your desired pace.
This varies on an individual basis, and is agreed upon during the intake session. I have a flexible approach to session numbers, so these can be extended if needed.
I work on a session by session cost, made payable prior to each arranged session. The cost of these sessions are agreed upon during the free intake consultation. Various tarrifs are available depending on a clients financial situation. Ultimately I aim to avoid unaffordable session costs to become a barrier to beginning a coaching/counselling trajectory. Please note that health insurance costs are not covered.
At the moment the dutch healthcare system does not cover costs for this type of mental health service.
Whilst psychologists and psychotherapists play an essential role in mental health and wellness, they can often be expensive, unavailable and the thought of seeing them can be quite daunting. Coaching and counselling is just as effective with treating certain mental health complaints, like depression, anxiety and depression, and tends to be more affordable. Coaching and counselling can also be effective in combination with seeing a psychologist/psychotherapist.
Clients work with me on various aspects of their lives. Corperate professionals dissatisfied with their current job role or career path. Individuals unhappy with their relationship with friends, family or partner. People struggling with anxiety, depression, confidence & self esteem, sexuality. People experiencing grief or trauma after an earlier experience. There are so many reasons to make the first step and see a coach/counsellor. Remember, your first consultation is free, and where you get the chance to explain exactly what you're experiencing and what you think you'd like help with. We can then look at what possibilities there may be to work together.
Dont worry, we will agree on the most suitable way to communicate during our work together, both during and outside of sessions.
At the moment my coaching and counselling services are in English. However I expect this to expand to Dutch in the near future.
I plan to offer face-to-face sessions very soon... watch this space. Feel free to request a free consultation to discuss other options if online sessions are not suitable.
